If you subscribe to any interent marketing newsletters of visit any of the forums, you have probably heard people refer to Aweber quite a bit. This is because the Aweber service has been around for more than a decade and has become one of the most popular internet marketing tools out there.
Aweber is a fee based service designed to help internet marketers manage their opt in lists, newsletter subscriptions and e-mail marketing efforts. When you send or receive individual e-mails, the process looks simple; however, when this is done on a large scale, it becomes much more complicated to manage. It is services and products like Aweber that make it look like the profits are effortless. What is it about this permission email marketing service that internet marketers like so much?
One of the basic principles of email marketing is to create multiple email lists. Marketing to more than one list gives you the ability to cast a wider marketing net. If you market to more than one niche, of course you’ll build a list for each one. You will probably want to avoid using a program, such as MS Outlook, for your email list marketing management. You won’t find the needed features to do it right, plus you’re opening yourself up to making unnecessary mistakes. Aweber has always been very affordable, and it has not changed that policy since the inception. But when you have a sizeable list, and are making money with it, the next level increase is forty-nine dollars per month. If you can swing one hundred ninety four dollars, that will pay for the year and the option is there to do that. There are other fees as your subscriber list starts to increase. As you gain subscribers, the cost of maintaining, managing and communicating with your lists goes up. So to give you a better idea, you’ll need to pay only ten dollars extra per month for 500 to 2500 subscribers.
A natural concern has to do with deliverability to inboxes. You don’t want to be mistaken for spam, and you don’t want an internet provider to block you for suspicious activity. Most internet providers have partnerships with Aweber that all but guarantee that your e-mails will get through. They also have a strict anti-spam policy so you don’t have to worry about your mails being mistaken for common spam. But this is not a comprehensive list of all they have to offer. So far we have yet to find other services that offer the range of features as Aweber. However, it’s not necessary to use them only for email marketing.
