Using Easy Video Player – Don’t you Just Love Video

easy video player reviewEasy Video Player Will Change How you Use Video To Market

I have been playing around with video for  a couple of years now and have to admit that google acts like a magnet when you introduce video into you posts or web pages. I first tried video in a Amazon affiliate site I was building, which on the upside was pretty successful but on the flip side was just too time consuming as I had to spend so long researching keywords etc that  I converted it to AdSense.

Embedding a YouTube video into your website s really simple to do and everyone does it, however if you are trying to put your own video content into a web page it is not so straight forward, you have to know how import all the files that go with it and then, should it be successful and people want  to view it you are sure to have issues with bandwidth as most hosts wont be geared up for it.

I was trying to publish one of my own product videos the other day and became so frustrated I searched for a better solution, then “hallelujah” I came across a blog by Josh Bartlett a fellow Brit living in New Zealand. Josh has build an application for easily publishing video on your web. Easy Video Player does exactly what the name implies and allows you to easily put any video anywhere you like and it does it in minutes.

Easy Video Player works by placing an application on your computer which uploads the video to a destination of your choice and then gives you a small piece of Javascript to place on your web page. Being able to upload a video so easily is great, however Easy Video Player also comes with a few bells and whistles that need to be seen to believed.

Marketers using video are always trying to find a way to get people to go to a particular offer directly after viewing the video, now this can be a problem as if it is on YouTube hey are  distracted by related videos and other content such as comments etc, however easy video player buttonwith EVP you can set use the built in tools to redirect them to you offer straight after the video ends.

Another neat feature is that you can embed a button which you can name anything,  which will redirect to any url you wish them to go to.

I am using Amazon S3 for hosting my videos as it is easily the most cost effective way to get your videos in front of everyone and the best thing is that Easy Video Player works with S3 seamlessly.

All in all I love what Easy Video Player has to offer and is very worth taking a look.
